At the age of 3, our daughters went to the grocery store dressed as princesses. They don't do that anymore, but they do wear their peacock skirts with pride. We think the overlain ruffles channel their girly sides. We are thrilled they still like to flounce a ruffle. We fear for when they will not. The peacock ruffle can dress up or down. It even looks good with glass slippers.
